În data de miercuri 21 iunie 2023 a avut loc, la Universitatea Națională de Muzică din Bucureşti (sala de Vizionări, ora 10:00) Adunarea Generală SNR-SIMC, cu participare atât live, cât şi online a membrilor secțiunii. Cu aceasta ocazie a fost votată în unanimitate continuarea activității echipei curente pentru mandatul 2023-2025, dar şi o modificare importantă a Regulamentului SNR-SIMC. Este vorba despre Capitolul III, Articolul 5 al Regulamentului care prevede, începând de acum, şi posibilitatea membrilor stagiari ai Uniunii Compozitorilor şi Muzicologilor Români care s-au distins prin activitatea lor de a depune o cerere de adeziune pentru a deveni membri ai SNR-SIMC. Până acum, această posibilitate era rezervată exclusiv membrilor definitivi ai Uniunii.

On Wednesday 21 June 2023, the ISCM Romania General Assembly took place at the National University of Music in Bucharest (Exhibition Hall, 10:00 am), with both live and online participation of section members. On this occasion it was unanimously voted to continue the work of the current team for the mandate 2023-2025, as well as an important amendment to the SNR-SIMC Regulations. This is Chapter III, Article 5 of the Rules, which provides, from now on, the possibility for trainee members of the Union of Romanian Composers and Musicologists who have distinguished themselves through their work to apply to become members of ISCM Romania. Until now, this possibility was reserved exclusively for permanent members of the Union.
